Do Mediums see the Future, a Future or only a Past?

Just recently watched 12 series of the “Vangelia” movie. The movie is based on the life and is about the famous Bulgarian medium and healer Baba Vanga. The film is not a documentary. Among ideas that one could find about fortune telling and mediumship there were some controversial statements from the main character that, as I assume, derive from the ignorance of the play writers and directors of the movie on the topic or from ambiguous explanations of Baba Vanga herself that she presented in different times, different situations and to different people.Vanga For example, in some cases Baba Vanga says that “Fate” exists and in other cases she concedes one can change his fate if warned. In one of episodes she describes seeing a kind of movies about souls of deceased ones being demonstrated by small spiritual beings in others she says the souls themselves are present in the room and talking to her. I feel I have to learn more documented facts about Vangelia than just to trust the story in the movie.

Later I stumbled upon an article in the Facebook about another famous psychic and medium Edgar Cayce. There was a quote of him saying “Dreams are today’s answers to tomorrow’s questions”. His statements included predictions of the stock market crash of 1929 and events related to World Wars and even the warnings of untimely deaths of two American presidents.

I compared the abilities of psychics to predict exact times for some events with my general knowledge and understanding of what kind of information is available through spirits and god. Basically I say that spirits don’t know what exactly and when is going to happen in the future. But many spirits collaborating in coordinated effort to predict future may calculate the most possible scenarios of the future developments and their approximate timing. While I don’t have much trouble accepting predictions where an event is predicted with 1 year accuracy, I didn’t see how a psychic might see some more precise timing for an event like exact day, month and year.

I was puzzled and it seems to me I discovered or may be “received” a theory or true knowledge of how seeing and predicting exact times and names could work. Strangely, it includes ideas that I read in articles about Quantum theory and theory of parallel universes or multiverse.

One of ideas is that there are parallel universes and the difference between them can sometimes be in just small details and different timing – one can be ahead or behind another in time.

Generally, when we think that a medium “sees” the Future, in reality that psychic receives information of something that happened in the past in a parallel universe that is very close to and related to ours. Simply it is the one that is ahead of ours in time and is only slightly different in some details.

I also now assume that our spirits have access to information about history in other parallel universes or able to visit parallel universes themselves through eyes and bodies of the dwellers of other universes directly or via connections to their spirits.

The hypothesis I present to your attention here is just a hypothesis and I hope it has at least some value as a thought provoking reading.

Please, feel free to comment, critique or discuss it.

Baku Park

Soul can function as a synonym for spirit, mind, psyche or self. Yol religion can characterize soul using the following sentences (read small text at the end of the post from Creator of Yol):

Soul is a human’s consciousness that extends far beyond the physical body.

Soul is the cause of intuition and “unconscious mind”.

Soul has features and characteristics that exceed those of a human’s mind.

Soul has an energy that has something in common with electricity.

Soul emerges and develops to a degree.

Soul is not everlasting.

Soul can not reincarnate.

All organisms have souls.

Existence of soul conforms to Laws of Nature awaiting discovery.

Quotes about Soul

Everywhere and always, since its very inception, Christianity has turned the earth into a vale of tears; always it has made of life a weak, diseased thing, always it has instilled fear in man, turning him into a dual being, whose life energies are spent in the struggle between body and soul. In decrying the body as something evil, the flesh as the tempter to everything that is sinful, man has mutilated his being in the vain attempt to keep his soul pure, while his body rotted away from the injuries and tortures inflicted upon it.

EMMA GOLDMAN, Mother Earth, April 1913

What is soul?  It’s like electricity – we don’t really know what it is, but it’s a force that can light a room.

Ray Charles

Ambition is a Dead Sea fruit, and the greatest peril to the soul is that one is likely to get precisely what he is seeking.

EDWARD DAHLBERG, Alms for Oblivion

The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens to that primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego could ever reach.

CARL JUNG, The Meaning of Psychology for Modern Man

Imagination is the eye of the soul.

JOSEPH JOUBERT, Pensées

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.

ANATOLE FRANCE

Soul. The word rebounded to me, and I wondered, as I often had, what it was exactly. People talked about it all the time, but did anybody actually know? Sometimes I’d pictured it like a pilot light burning inside a person–a drop of fire from the invisible inferno people called God. Or a squashy substance, like a piece of clay or dental mold, which collected the sum of a person’s experiences–a million indentations of happiness, desperation, fear, all the small piercings of beauty we’ve ever known.

SUE MONK KIDD, The Mermaid Chair

Belief consists in accepting the affirmations of the soul; unbelief, in denying them. Some minds are incapable of skepticism.

RALPH WALDO EMERSON, “Montaigne; or, the Skeptic,” Representative Men

Negativity is an addiction to the bleak shadow that lingers around every human form … you can transfigure negativity by turning it toward the light of your soul.

JOHN O’DONOHUE, Anam Cara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom

Emotions are the colors of the soul.

WM. PAUL YOUNG, The Shack

The soul is healed by being with children.

FYODOR DOSTOEVSKY, The Idiot

There are apartments in the soul which have a glorious outlook; from whose windows you can see across the river of death, and into the shining city beyond; but how often are these neglected for the lower ones, which have earthward-looking windows.

HENRY WARD BEECHER, Life Thoughts

For all good and evil, whether in the body or in human nature, originates … in the soul, and overflows from thence, as from the head into the eyes.

PLATO, Charmides

The human soul is God’s treasury, out of which he coins unspeakable riches.

HENRY WARD BEECHER, Proverbs from Plymouth Pulpit

Music, sculpture, poetry, painting–these are glorious works; but the soul that creates them is more glorious than they. The music shall die on the passing wind, the poem may be lost in the confusion of tongues, the marble will crumble and the canvas will fade, while the soul shall be quenchless and strong, filled with a nobler melody, kindling with loftier themes, projecting images of unearthly beauty, and drinking from springs of imperishable life.

You don’t believe in the soul until you feel it straining to escape the body.

GLEN DUNCAN, A Day and a Night and a Day

Good men study to spiritualize their bodies; bad men to incarnate their souls.

BENJAMIN WHICHCOTE, Moral and Religious Aphorisms

The blackest murder is the killing of the Soul’s aspirations!

EDWIN LEIBFREED, “The Song of the Soul”

The soul’s vitality after death is proportionate to its vitality before death.

AUSTIN O’MALLEY, Keystones of Thought

The soul, like the body, acquires vigor by the exercise of all its faculties. In the midst of the world, in overcoming difficulties, in conquering selfishness, indolence, and fear–in all the occasions of duty, it employs, and reveals by employing, energies that render it efficient and robust–that broaden its scope, adjust its powers, and mature it with a rich experience.

E. H. CHAPIN, Living Words

There may be a soul of the world, there may be … a psychical side, of which we are not aware, to every atom in the universe, and the psychical side, like the moon, may show us ever but the one face, the other forever in the shadow; but, at best, this is only a conjecture, it presents no solid foundation upon which to rest a theory.

JOHN GRIER HIBBEN, The Problems of Philosophy

The soul can never be corrupted with the corruption of the body, but it is like the wind which causes the sound of the organ, and which ceases to produce a good effect when a pipe is spoilt.

LEONARDO DA VINCI, Thoughts on Art and Life

He who possesses the divine powers of the soul is a great being, be his place what it may. You may clothe him with rags, may immure him in a dungeon, may chain him to slavish tasks; but he is still great. You may shut him out of your houses; but God opens to him heavenly mansions.

WILLIAM E. CHANNING, Thoughts

Only by much searching and mining, are gold and diamonds obtained, and man can find every truth connected with his being, if he will dig deep into the mine of his soul.

JAMES ALLEN, As a Man Thinketh

My mind is incapable of conceiving such a thing as a soul. I may be in error, and man may have a soul; but I simply do not believe it. What a soul may be is beyond my understanding.

THOMAS EDISON, “Do We Live Again?”, The Illustrated London News, May 3, 1924

Why do you hasten to remove anything which hurts your eye, while if something affects your soul you postpone the cure until next year?

Horace

Let us duly learn to prize and value our Souls: Is the body such a valuable piece, what then is the Soul? The body is but a husk of shell, the Soul is the kernel; the body is but the cask, the Soul is the precious liquor contained in it; the body is but the cabinet, the Soul is the jewel; the body is but the dwelling, the Soul the inhabitant.

WELLINS CALCOTT, Thoughts Moral and Divine

Human Soul. Quotes about Soul and Spirit.

Say not, “I have found the truth,” but rather, “I have found a truth.”  Say not, “I have found the path of the soul.”  Say rather, “I have met the soul walking upon my path.”  For the soul walks upon all paths.  The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed.  The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals.

Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet, 1923

I was thrown out of college for cheating on the metaphysics exam: I looked into the soul of another boy.

Woody Allen

From Shaheen Hajigil, creator of Yol:

Dear follower or reader.  Do you agree or disagree with quotes aboul Soul? In Yol religion I say to my followers that all souls or many souls connected to each other make one god. I don’t call it universal soul as I don’t have any message from god about it’s (universal Soul) existence.

Universal god is also outside of my message. There is infinite number of universes in the limitless Cosmos. There is infinite number of populated planets. Each one of the planets have it’s own god- god that consists of many souls connected to each other (only type of god recognised in Yol religion) . Two populated planets can be very close to each other. If their intelligent dwellers can visit each other and have created a community then they may have their two separate  gods (sets of multiple souls) fused into one larger and communicating soul connection.

Other than this method Yol religion doesn’t know how two sides may join each other without first communicating and exchanging information using conscious mind.

Thank you for reading Yol’s view about souls and other soul quotes.

Freeman Dyson God Quote thumb

Freeman-Dyson-God-Quote

Quote from Infinite in All Directions: Gifford Lectures Given at Aberdeen, Scotland April–November 1985 by Freeman Dyson:

““My personal theology is described in the Gifford lectures that I gave at Aberdeen in Scotland in 1985, published under the title, Infinite In All Directions. Here is a brief summary of my thinking. The universe shows evidence of the operations of mind on three levels. The first level is elementary physical processes, as we see them when we study atoms in the laboratory. The second level is our direct human experience of our own consciousness. The third level is the universe as a whole. Atoms in the laboratory are weird stuff, behaving like active agents rather than inert substances. They make unpredictable choices between alternative possibilities according to the laws of quantum mechanics. It appears that mind, as manifested by the capacity to make choices, is to some extent inherent in every atom. The universe as a whole is also weird, with laws of nature that make it hospitable to the growth of mind. I do not make any clear distinction between mind and God. God is what mind becomes when it has passed beyond the scale of our comprehension. God may be either a world-soul or a collection of world-souls. So I am thinking that atoms and humans and God may have minds that differ in degree but not in kind. We stand, in a manner of speaking, midway between the unpredictability of atoms and the unpredictability of God. Atoms are small pieces of our mental apparatus, and we are small pieces of God’s mental apparatus. Our minds may receive inputs equally from atoms and from God. This view of our place in the cosmos may not be true, but it is compatible with the active nature of atoms as revealed in the experiments of modern physics. I don’t say that this personal theology is supported or proved by scientific evidence. I only say that it is consistent with scientific evidence.”

Infinite In All Directions is a book on a wide range of subjects, including history, philosophy, research, technology, the origin of life and eschatology, by theoretical physicist Freeman Dyson. Published in 1988, this book is based on the author’s Gifford Lectures delivered in Aberdeen in 1985. Infinite in All Directions can roughly be summarized as a treatise on the universe and humanity’s role and its responsibilities.

What is God?

God contains both good and evil and has an internal struggle of various forces.  New Spiritual View. <<Click To Tweet>>

God is a general name for the community consisting of souls of all living and passed away organisms.
The soul is a consciousness of a live being, formed during it’s life in it’s physical body and capable of continued functioning for a long time outside of a physical body, acquiring new abilities.
The concept  of “god” is similar to a concept of “parliament”. The same way as a country’s parliament can address all inhabitants of the country with a single message, or a  separate member of the parliament can speak to a small group of his voters  on his own behalf.
As a parliament may have large associations, like parties as well as  small groups on the general interests, so the community of souls named “god” has it’s large and small groups, united by their interests.
Interests can be positive, from the point of view of common morality in the beginning of the 21st century, and negative.
The primary goal of the majority of associations  in the structure of god is preservation of mankind and improvement of vital conditions.
Single souls protect interests of their near relatives or other people that are of interest to them.  Do you have a “guardian angel”? This is how many people refer to a soul which helps them to overcome difficulties of life and prompts them the best course of actions.

god photo
But a recommendation can be received from a group of souls – without limits to the number of participating souls.
Bigger groups can influence the behavior of men of power, whose decisions have global consequences.

God has no sense organs — our bodies and bodies of other live organisms lend the use of their sense organs to god.
God is blind and deaf there where there is no other organism  perceiving an information through sense organs.

God can influence only live organisms and only through them can affect lifeless objects (excluding electricity in it’s lifeless form).
God is one of the most powerful defenders of life on the Earth. But  god is not omnipotent.
As all intelligent phenomena, god contains simultaneously both good and evil and always has an internal struggle of various forces.
God  does not know an exact course of events of the future independent of the stage of god’s development.
But god has an ability of instant association of many souls with all of their experience and knowledge into the uniform system, capable to predict the most possible course of events.
All life in our world  is a part of god. Our minds, knowledge and experience are opened and are accessible to god and actively by god are used.
God can endure  destruction of mankind and all life on a planet, but without having prospects to find new advanced live organisms, can gradually dissipate and voluntarily cease it’s existence.
Other gods can have physical bases distinct from ours on their planets in Space. Other gods can be at the same, earlier or later stages of development.
In the future scientists will find how to receive the results of work of a such system in the form accessible to perception and practical application.
The stage of direct conscious communications can be considered as the high form of development of intercommunication  between Society of live organisms and society of souls of the died organisms.

Well, everybody knows who Charles Darwin was and what he created. When we hear “Darwin” we think of the “On The Origin of Species” and “Natural Selection”.
What Darwin did not say and what Yol religion is saying is that God itself is the result of biological life on a planet and starts as a very simple collection of simple thoughtless souls and consequently evolves as more sophisticated and more organized types of living beings die. With humans coming into life on the planet Earth and the huge leap in the ability of an animal to think and put 2 and 2 together influence and power of god manifolded.
As human society has matured so did god. Evolution of god is now in the area of creating of critical mass of knowledge and understanding of it’s own nature and physical mechanisms of existence and perspectives of continual living with the inevitable destruction and disappearance of life on the planet.
Our (planet Earth’s) God is not a living organism, but is a society. It is not to compete with any other god or gods as a nearest god of another populated planet would have a very little chance to contact it. And if such a contact would take place the 2 different gods immediately would diffuse into each other and become one.Result of this has no disadvantages to us, living organisms, and vice versa may bring new scientific and social achievements to our society.
Charles Darwin has his outstanding place in the society of souls, that Yol religion sees as god.
